This year Pioneer Camp will be held from Monday June 27 through Friday July 1, and will take place at the original historical settlement for the Town of Glover, dating back to 1798.
We are located 3/4 mile from the West Glover four corners, south on Parker Road at 765
Parker Road.There is a reflective green 911 sign on the power pole at the bottom of the driveway.
Check in each day is by 8:30 am at the Pottery, first building on your left up the driveway. Early birds are welcome any time after 8 am. Campers should bring a bag lunch. We will provide a simple, nutritious breakfast, something hot with lunch, and an afternoon snack after swimming. Children can be picked up at the Pottery at 3 pm, Monday through Thursday. Please drop your children off and pick them up at the Pottery. There is plenty of parking on site.
On Friday, the children will participate in the second annual West Glover Heritage Parade and will leave the settlement in the early afternoon, wind our way north on Parker Road, turn left on County Road, walk to Parker Pie, turn around and proceed back east on County Road, ending up at the historic West Glover Church for afternoon snack and pickup at the church at 3 pm.
