Camp Program

This year “a Child’s Life in Pioneer Times” is from Monday June 25 through Friday June 29, 8:30 am to 3pm at the original historical settlement for the Town of Glover, dating back to 1798.

We are located 3/4 mile from the West Glover four corners, south on Parker Road at 765 Parker Road. There is a reflective green 911 sign on the power pole at the bottom of the driveway.

Check in each day is by 8:30 am at the Pottery Studio, first building on your left, up the driveway. Early birds are welcome anytime after 8 am.

Campers should bring a bag lunch. We will provide a simple, nutritious breakfast, something hot with lunch, and an afternoon snack after swimming.

Campers will spend their mornings participating in a new activity each day including

  • Gardening with Tom and Michele
  • Pioneer Holidays with Leanne
  • Ropes and Knots with Peggy
  • Campfire Cooking with Special Guests
  • Shelters, Wigwams, Forts, Roads, and Bridges with Jim and Betsy

Campers can be picked up at the Pottery at 3 pm, Monday through Thursday. Please drop off and pick up your campers at the Pottery. There is plenty of parking on site.

In the afternoon, all campers will participate in a chosen FOCUS GROUP.  All campers should choose from the following offerings: BUGS AND NATURE, HIKING TO HISTORYPIONEER PLAYERS, STONES AND BONES, AND CARPENTRY 101.
